Get ready to move your body with Watkanda Dance. Meet LeRoi, a first-generation Nigerian American from Washington D.C. and founder of Watkanda Dance Fitness & Entertainment LLC. He is an international afro latin dancer, instructor and event organizer. LeRoi is a very charismatic, passionate and energetic instructor with 25 plus years of experience in the performing arts. He holds a diverse repertoire that includes hip-hop, BBoy, pop-locking, Afrodance, Konpa, Bachata, Dancehall, Merengue, Salsa and Ballroom dance. LeRoi is renowned for his magnetic ability to ignite any dance floor and get people moving and grooving. With afrocentric movements, LeRoi is able to urge dancers to embrace the spirit of African culture through the art of dance. LeRoi has traveled all over to cultivate his craft and he has taught people of all backgrounds afro dance genres including other instructions whom you may love and recognize. He believes the dance floor to be his happy place and views dance as a pure form of physical and mental health therapy.
